PROCEDURE FOR CLEANING OF LABELING MACHINE

·         SOP   :          Standard Operating Procedure; a document where step by step instructions are cited to serve as support for methods or manners of fulfilling a function or functions reliably and consistently.

v   Procedure:

·                     Remove the gum from the gum pot.

·                     Remove the labels from the label holder.

·                     Wash the gum pot, the gum roller and the associated area thoroughly with water.

·                     Soak the gum roller in water and remove the adhering gum with the help of a nylon brush.

·                     Remove any soiled labels. Count and destroy them.

·                     Remove broken glass pieces and any such matter in the feeding tables, conveyor belts and clean with mop.

·                     Clean the parts of the machine, which are liable to get soiled, with gum or water during the course of operation.
